this weekend we got to celebrate the birthdays of 2 great kids: Jason's cousin, Owen who turned 6 years old and our friend, Audrey who is now 1 year old!here's Owen at his birthday celebration:
he really likes Star Wars right now, so he received lots and lots of Star Wars presents. as you can see, ALL of the kids at the party were amazed by his gifts. (you can't even see Owen amidst all the gifts!)

you can read my previous post about Audrey from a year ago here. she was born with part of her brain growing on the outside of her head, so she had surgery soon after she was born. doctors told her parents to be prepared that she may not survive, not be able to eat, etc. she is doing great and truly a miracle baby! oh- and we just found out she is going to be a big sister! :)that brings us to today, sunday. we are all decked out in our bengals gear-- I was actually going to try to watch the game, but our bunny ears are not picking up the channel showing the game... so I am using my time to blog, instead. Matt is grading papers, which I actually helped him do last night, too! and Jason is taking a nap... still a great afternoon.
