- more kitchen wallpaper has come down! we had to move the refrigerator to get at the wallpaper behind it- and, luckily, most of it came off in big strips. BUT, the bad part about that is that there is still the glue residue left behind. which just means more work to do before the painting can begin.
- this is the only wallpaper left to take down. but it involves using the ladder over the stairs, so I think this will have to wait until the weekend. at least the end is in sight! sorta....
matt has been working hard on the bathroom. we decided to go for a smaller sink vs. the pedestal sink for various reasons. and I am very pleased with the result:

as far as books--i think you would love anything by francine rivers. she's christian fiction. have you ever read john piper? he's an awesome deep, philisophical read... if you want a funny, light-hearted anthropolgy kind of book try, "the sex lives of cannibals" it's HILARIOUS. i had fun with it.
