update on little Audrey- she is now 8 weeks old. this is our friends' baby girl who doctors said would never be able to leave the hospital because part of her brain grew on the outside of her skull. yet she amazed everyone by breathing well, eating on her own, gaining the weight she needed, and even learned how to nurse! a few days after she was born, she had surgery to remove the growth and she has been home since then. overall, she has been doing very well!

however, last week she had to have surgery again because of "water on the brain." they put a shunt in her head to help relieve the pressure. she was in a lot of pain. this was obviously very heart-breaking for Daphane and Tim. I guess the doctors also said there could be more surgeries needed down the road, which is disappointing. BUT- the doctors have very obviously been wrong before!! the prayer requested is that God will take care of any more problems in her little head and heal this baby girl!
