We have all been so eagerly waiting... Jason has not been able to use the basement for a few months now... even his animals have been lined up in anticipation...
the basement is ready to be used again!!!!
After an entire summer spent moving out furniture, ripping out old carpet, painting the walls, laying new flooring, re-organizing the storage, filling the garage with boxes to take to GoodWill, covering the stairs, measuring and cutting molding, and putting together Ikea furniture-- the basement is beautiful!
Matt worked SO hard on all of this-- time that he initially thought he would use to relax and enjoy NOT working. I LOVE it! Its such a great place for Jason to play, lots of room for laundry, everything is organized and clean, things we never used have been given away. It's perfect!
and while Matt, Jason and I enjoy the new basement...
Karah will just enjoy sucking on her hand!
