Back on Track

Yes, it is true that we have been derelict in our duties to our loyal blog fans; but that is all changing now! Besides for the fact that Pappa V.G. is going to have some time off from school very soon, we also got a neat-o new macbook laptop computer. It is one of the most fun toys ever.
Saturday was a nice relaxing day of fun and family. We awoke to the first snow of the season and felt the urge to make some homemade "good stuff" cookies.
Jason led the way by meticulously measuring all the ingredients . . . .











and stirring them up like a pro!














The whole experience was all very satisfying for a "big boy" (as Jason has taken to calling himself).

But more satisfying even still, was the tasting of the first fruits of all his hard work.







After an exciting morning of new-fallen snow and a cookie baking surprise, we jumped in the car and drove a few minutes up the road to Dayton where Jason's second cousin Landon was celebrating his first birthday. Here is a pic of the two party animals:

They got along quite nicely and truly seemed to appreciate one another's company. We'll look forward to seeing Landon again at Jason's second birthday!
