sad news... Jason has 2 ear infections! he has never had any before... and now he has infections in both ears! I feel like a bad mama for not knowing sooner.... he has to take antibiotics and goes back to the Dr. in 2 weeks.
we are postponing our trip to STL to see Uncle Sam because we don't want to risk Jason getting little Sean sick. so we'll have to wait another 2 weeks to see Sam on his leave from Iraq. but hopefully we will all be healthy and it will be well worth the wait!

Aw, don't feel like a bad mom- I think ear infections are hard to figure out even on yourself if you have a cold or something. He'll be better soon.
don't feel guilty! It probably started out as a cold and just recently developed into an ear infection. Plus, any of the time he didn't have antibiotics, his little body was building up its own antibodies.
Guilt at seeing your kid sick is part of being a mom!
yes - natalie never had symptoms with hers until she was well into a double EI. no fever, no pulling, just kind of cranky. she had 5 this winter and we get tubes put in tomorrow :(
