baby-centric days

NEW! Jason George: The Movie- Chapter 4
once again, my cousin Pete has used his creative genius to make a mini-movie-- this time documenting Jason's 4th month of life. definitely check it out!

in other news:
-- Jason tried carrots for the first time yesterday!
I embarked on the adventure of making our own baby food (baby food at the grocery is expensive!). so I used the food processor to puree the carrots and then froze them in an ice cube tray. that way it's easy to just take out one cube at a time and heat it up.

-- we went over to Matt's parents' last night and made dinner, since his mom is still recovering from being in the hospital. you can tell Jason is VERY loved in this home!

--while we were there, Jason tried out a little baby walker contraption for the first time. he seemed to like it! he definitely held his body upright on his own very well!

-- this afternoon we are taking Jason and our nephew, Owen, to the Cincinnati Museum Center. it's free today from 4pm-8pm, so we are taking advantage! then we get a 3-day weekend: YEAH!

In response to your last post, I know you're sad to go back to work, but I think that Jason is so lucky to be able to have stay at home time with both his daddy and his mommy.

love the video. so cute! my girls and i watched it. in japan they say "ka-why-eee!!" whenever they see a cute baby... you have to say it with a really high-pitched voice. we're sending jason a kawhyee!
